No. Each U.S. state runs its own official unclaimed property program. MissingMoney.com, run by NAUPA, searches most participating states at once, but you should still check every state you have lived or worked in individually.
Which state holds my unclaimed money?+
Unclaimed property is usually held by the state where you lived when the money became dormant — for example, the state tied to an old bank account, employer, or utility deposit. If you have moved, search each of those states.
Does it cost anything to search or claim?+
